Company mission

Our mission is to offer leisure experiences that are unique and unforgettable, which is the perfect plan for a day of vacation or rest. Above all, the objective is to guarantee the maximum satisfaction of our clients, and, for this, we seek excellence every day.
The organization of our activities is based on cultural learning and respect for the environment. We want our clients to be fascinated not only with the land they walk on and the sea that surrounds them, by discovering the wonderful particularities of our flora and fauna, but also with the past and present of our history.

History of the Majorero boat

In the spring of 1989, a shipyard in Palma de Mallorca began to give life to a new glass-bottomed wooden swallow. A boat of 19.95 meters in length powered by motor with capacity for 150 passengers. She was specially designed for tourist transport and, after her construction, she was baptized as Majorero.

What was once one of the largest ships at the Corralejo quay, left the Balearic Islands in the early morning of August 6, 1990 to arrive in Algeciras the following day, where it made a brief stopover to rest before beginning the direct journey that would bring to the Canary Islands. After a long journey of five days and four nights, Majorero arrived in Corralejo on the morning of August 11, 1990.

Subsequently, on June 21, 1991, Nortour received the concession for the Corralejo-Isla de Lobos regular line from the General Directorate of the Merchant Marine. Since then we have faithfully fulfilled the commitment to daily connect the municipality of La Oliva with the island of Lobos, one of the most precious natural spaces in Fuerteventura.

After more than 30 years, in addition to continuing to incorporate new activities aimed at discovering and enjoying the natural wonders of the Canary Islands, our ship continues to offer daily departures from the port of Corralejo, meeting the highest safety and comfort requirements.
