Discover the Isla de Lobos Natural Park
Lobos Island is a small islet located northeast of Fuerteventura, just 20 minutes by ferry from Corralejo. Its name is due to the fact that at some point in history monk seals, also known as sea lions, inhabited it. It was one of the first natural areas in the Canary Islands to be protected, following the declaration of the Corralejo Dunes and Lobos Islet Natural Park in 1982.
