La Calera Beach, also known to many visitors as La Concha Beach, is probably the most famous beach on Lobos Island; located about seven minutes walk from the pier, it offers light sand, shallow waters and a perfect environment to relax for several hours.

When the sea is calm, it's an ideal beach for swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the scenery with views towards Fuerteventura. Many people choose this area to spend practically the entire day thanks to the beach's spaciousness and easy access.

El Puertito, a swim in crystal-clear waters

In the opposite direction from La Calera Beach lies El Puertito, another of the island's most popular spots. Its small natural pools and crystal-clear waters create one of the most photographed landscapes on Lobos Island. The experience changes considerably with the tide. At high tide, the water takes on intense shades of blue, and the small coves offer a very pleasant setting for swimming.

In some areas there may be stones, so many people prefer to wear water shoes when entering the water.
