1. Is it necessary to request an entry authorization to visit the Islet of Lobos?

Yes, the tickets issued on our website include the management of entry authorization to the island. For more information you can read our article Autorización de Visita or visit the page of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura.


2. Does the reservation of my boat ticket to Lobos Island include the authorization?

Yes, it can be requested optionally at the time of purchasing any of our activities. It is an exclusive supplement for online tickets.


3. Where I can get the boat?

The “Majorero” boat is located at the entrance to the port of Corralejo in front of the La Lonja bar. If you come by bus you must take the Line 6, and stay at the last stop that is at the Corralejo Pier, this route leaves every day from Puerto de Rosario, in some schedules passes through Dutch Park and hotels that are in the Corralejo Dunes, You can consult the updated schedules at: https://tiadhe.com/linea-06/.

4. What time are the departures?

5. What are the ways to buy?

You can buy tickets online and board directly by showing your reservation from your mobile phone, as well as buy tickets at the ticket office or on the boat whenever there are places available.


6. How far in advance should I book?

There is no time limit and as long as there are seats you can buy your tickets before boarding. However, in the case of wanting to request authorization together with the purchase of the boat ticket, we recommend doing it as far in advance as possible since places are limited by the current capacity of the island.


7. How long does it take to tour the island?

To go around the island, the estimated walking time is approximately 2h30min. From the dock where the boat leaves you, the beaches will be 7 min. Walking, the path on the left will take you to La Concha beach and the path on the right will take you to “El Puertito”, an old fishing village where there is a small cove of sand and stones.


8. Where I can eat in Lobos Island?

We recommend you bring water and food, since there is only one beach bar on the islet and it may be closed on the day of your visit or it may not have capacity. You can contact them through the number +34 928879653 although it is not always operational.


9. Do you have a subsidy for large families or residents of the Canary Islands?                       

No, the ferry trip to Islet of Lobos does not have subsidies for large families or Canarian residents. However, in some of our excursions or activities we offer discounts for Canarian residents, children, etc.

10. Is it possible to travel in a wheelchair?

Yes, it is possible to travel in a wheelchair as long as the person has the ability to board and disembark with some mobility, and the wheelchair is foldable.


11. Can we bring pets on Lobos Island?

No, as it is a Natural Park of special ecological sensitivity, the entry of any animal, including cats and dogs, is prohibited. If you just want to take a boat trip, small dogs weighing <5kg are accepted.


12. How long is the crossing?

Approximately 20 minutes each way.

13. Can I travel on the schedule you want with the option of the “Minicruise & Snorkel”?

Yes, for example you can go on the boat from 10:00 and then at 13:20 embark on the pier of Lobos Island to do the ride. Then you have the option of returning in the same boat to Corralejo or return later and continue enjoying the day on Islet of Lobos.


14. How does the option “Minicruise & Snorkeling’’ works?

Our option Minicruise with Snorkeling is a short excursion with a glass bottom boat which includes a little round trip into the south of Lobos Island to finally stop during about 35 minutes to do snorkeling. The total duration of the excursion is about 45 minutes. With this option you can also combine our departures to visit the Islet of Lobos, for example you could start at 10:00, 11:15, spend some free time on Lobos Island and at 13:20 the glass bottom boat will pick you up to do the excursion and at the end (around 14:20h) you will have the opportunity to choose if you would like to go back or spend some more time on Lobos Island till the evening.


15. Is it possible to rent bikes / snorkeling equipment / beach umbrella etc. on the island?

No, on Lobos Island there are no shops, the only business there is a small restaurant.

If you want to visit the Islet of Lobos by bicycle, you can purchase our Pack: Bicycle + Ferry or Bicycle + Mini Cruise and Snorkel. If you already have your bike when you reserve a place on the boat together with the purchase of your tickets in the Extra Supplements section you must select: Bicycle Transport.


16. Can I bring a baby cart, parasols, a beach fridge or a surfboard?

Yes, it is possible to bring baby strollers, parasols, beach coolers or surfboard, at no additional cost.


17. Can we travel all year round?

Yes, our departures are daily, except: 1st and 6th January, 16th July (Day of Virgin Carmen), 25th December and any possible cancellations due to bad weather conditions.


18. What is the temperature of the water?

The ocean temperature in Fuerteventura varies between 18ºC in winter and 23ºC in summer.
