Our activities are based on cultural learning and respect for the environment. We aim for our clients to be captivated not only by the land beneath their feet and the sea that surrounds them, discovering the wonderful characteristics of our flora and fauna, but also by the past and present of our history.
In the spring of 1989, a shipyard in Palma de Mallorca began to bring to life a new wooden boat with a glass bottom. A 19,95-meter-long motorboat with a capacity for 150 passengers. It was designed especially for tourist transport and, after its construction, was christened as majorero.
The ship, once one of the largest at the Corralejo dock, departed from the Balearic Islands in the early hours of August 6, 1990, arriving the following day in Algeciras. There, it made a brief stop to rest before beginning the direct crossing to the Canary Islands. After a long voyage of five days and four nights, the Majorero arrived in Corralejo on the morning of August 11, 1990.
Subsequently, on June 21, 1991, Nortour received the concession for the regular Corralejo-Isla de Lobos ferry service from the Directorate General of the Merchant Marine. Since then, we have faithfully fulfilled our commitment to providing daily service connecting the municipality of La Oliva with the island of Lobos, one of Fuerteventura's most treasured natural areas.
After more than 30 years, in addition to continuing to incorporate new activities aimed at discovering and enjoying the natural wonders of the Canary Islands, our ship continues to offer daily departures from the port of Corralejo, meeting the highest requirements of safety and comfort.
