Before visiting Isla de Lobos you may have one of the following questions, so here are the frequently asked questions:

Is it necessary to request an entry authorization to visit the island of Lobos?

Yes, the tickets issued on our website include the management of entry authorization to the Island. For more information you can read our article Autorización de Visita or visit the page of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura.

Can we bring pets on Lobos Island?

No, unfortunately it is not possible. Lobos Island is a Protected Natural Park and it is forbidden enter with animals.

Is it possible to travel in a wheelchair?

Yes, but it is important to know that the landing conditions on the island are very specials so we recommend a minimum of mobility.

Are there any bars or restaurants?

Yes. There is a little restaurant just 7 minutes walking from the little harbour (see map). Being a small restaurant we recommend to book it travelling with the first departures (by phone is not possible).

How long is the crossing?

Approximately 15-20 minutes each way.

What time are the departures?

If  I choose the option Minicruise & Snorkeling’’ can I travel any time?

Yes, for example you can travel at 10:00 or 11:00 and spend time on Lobos Island till 13:15. The Glass Bottom Boat will pick you up to do the Mini Cruise with Snorkeling and at the end you will can choose to rest on board and be back around 14:30 or spend some other extra time on lobos Island and come back at 16:00 or 17:00.

How does the option Minicruise & Snorkeling’’ works?

Our option Mini cruise with Snorkeling is a short excursion with a glass bottom boat which includes a little round trip into the south of Lobos Island to finally stop during about 35 minutes to do snorkeling. The total duration of the excursion is about 45 minutes. With this option you can also combine our departures to visit Lobos Island, for example you could start at 10:00, 11:00 or 12:00, spend some free time on Lobos Island and at 13:15 the glass bottom boat will pick you up to do the excursion and at the end (around 14:00h) you will have the opportunity to choose if you would like to go back or spend some more time on Lobos Island till 16:00 or 17:00.

Is it possible to rent bikes / snorkeling equipment / beach umbrella etc. on the island?

No, on Lobos Island there are no shops apart from the small restaurant.

Can we travel all year round?

Yes, our departures are daily, except: 1st and 6th January, 16th July (Day of Virgin Carmen), 25th December and any possible cancellations due to bad weather conditions.
